Susan & Sunrise

Susan is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Health Counselor who is proudly in her 10th year of serving the local community.  In early 2007, she created Custom Fit Wellness; a unique practice where she is able to combine her passions for massage therapy and food/nutrition in a very personalized way.

A native Long Islander, animal lover and passionate cook, Susan holds an A. S. Degree in Biology and a B. S. Degree in Home Economics - Food & Business.  In April 2000 she graduated with honors (receiving the Academic Achievement Award for her 4.0 grade point average) from the The New York College of Health Professions with her Occupational Studies Degree in Massage Therapy.

After years of struggling with her own weight/other health issues and finally winning the battle, she made the decision to attend the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC (an affiliate of Columbia University) to become a Certified Health Counselor in order to help her clients reach their own personal health goals.  She recently completed the elite 2nd year Immersion Program at Integrative Nutrition where she deepened her nutrition knowledge and was mentor to seven amazing future Health Counselors.

With love, compassion and a unique "insiders perspective" she utilizes her passion for healing as she guides her clients along the path towards lifelong health, vitality and happiness.
